Fig Galette - keto friendly - galete sa smokvama keto frendly, bosanska verzija na dnu stranice

This morning I find really nice figs in Publix. As I don't see them very often in states, I decided to buy to make this beautiful Fig Galette , but in keto version.






As I just want to try keto version, I did not take a lot of photos. I will need to test  it one more time, I kind would like to be more baked for next time, and figs be more like caramelized than this. So, maybe today I will do it again.



For crust we need next ingredients:

100 gr of Almond flour,
2 tbs Psyllium husk
1 tbs baking powder
3 tbs sugar I used monk fruit sugar,
pinch of salt
1 tbs sliced almonds
2 tbs seeds of you choice, I used sunflower seeds,

1 egg
2 egg whites
1 tbs apple cider vinegar
3 tbs coconut oil

For filling:

1 egg white
pinch of salt
3 tbs of sugar
150 gr of walnuts
1 lemon peal
2 tbs vanilla

Directions:

Turn your oven on 350F/175 C. The Pan for baking pies, oil with coconut oil and dust with almond flour.

Mix all wet ingredients and add in your dry ingredients. Mix everything thoroughly. Spread it with wet hands in thin layer in your pie tin. Bake for 7 minutes.

In meantime mix one egg white with pinch of salt till you get soft peak. Add sugar and continue mixing for about 3 minutes till stiff foam create. Add in ground walnuts, vanilla and lemon peal. Mix till everything is incorporated.

Take your prebaked galette  from the oven and spread mixture in thin layer.  On top of the  walnut-egg white mixture add sliced figs.

Bake for 7 more minutes till egg whites are completely baked, and figs are just baked little bit, still soft and nice.

Enjoy worm or cold.



Bosanska verzija:

Potrebni sastojci za koru:

1 jaje
2 bjelanca
3 kasike kokosovog ulja, ili bilo kojeg
1 kasika jabukovog sirceta

100 gr brasna od badema
2 kasike Psyllium husk
1 kasikica praska za pecivo
3 kasike secera po izboru, ja sam koristila monk fruit secer
1 kasika badema u listicima
2 kasike nekih drugih orasastih plodova ili sjemenki npr sjemenke bundeve
pinch soli

za premaz:

150 gr mljevenih oraha
1 bjelance
3 kasike secera po izboru, kod mene monk fruit sugar
korica jednog limuna
1 kasika vanile


4-5 smokvi, obzirom da je keto friendly, smokve rezati veoma tanko






Pomijesati prvu grupu sastojaka za koru. Dodati im drugu grupu suhih sastojaka I fino izmjesati.

Lim za tart namazati kokosovim ili drugom vrstom ulja I posuti bademovim brasnom.



Mokrom rukom rastanjiti smjesu preko kalupa.

Peci 7 minuta na 350 F/ 175 C.



U medjuvremenu bjelance umutiti pjenasto sa mrvicom soli. Dodati 3 kasike secera po izboru. Kad smo dobili gust saum, dodati orahe, vanilu I koricu limuna.

Smokve isjeci veoma tanko, pa poredati preko tarta.

Vratiti u rerun na 8 minuta I zapeci tek da se bjelanca fino ispeku. Smokve malo zavenu ali se ne ispeku, kao keto verzija dat ce socnost I svjezinu pecenom kolacu.

Posluziti toplo ili hladno.
